Words can take on many meanings...they can heal, express emotion, describe anything...and they can hurt. And there is one such word that is so hurtful and offensive, it cannot be mentioned...but judging by the banners I have posted here, it's obvious as to what I'm talking about.
As an employee for Atlantic County's chapter of Arc New Jersey, I am pledging to stop the use of the R-word. In my workplace, use of it is offensive and is treated as a profanity. Ignorance is not bliss...pass it on!
